BKFC 36: Adams vs. Belcher Heavyweight Title Bout Set for This Friday

The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) will host their 36th event this Friday, Feb. 24th, from the Pontchartrain Convention Center in Kenner, Louisiana.[0] The event will showcase a heavyweight title bout between reigning champion Arnold Adams and #1 contender Alan Belcher.[0]

Adams comes into this fight looking to make his second title defense in his second title reign. After taking a year and a half away after losing his belt to Chase Sherman at BKFC 7, Adams returned with a vengeance at BKFC 16 and has since rattled off four wins in a row, with three being by stoppage and two in title fights.[1]

Belcher, a 15-fight veteran of the UFC, is now a bare knuckle heavyweight champion after just four fights with the promotion.[2] He defeated Tony Lopez by decision at BKFC 20 in his return, but has since gone a perfect 3-0 with three KOs in BKFC, as well as a 5-0 record with five KOs as a professional boxer.[1]

Belcher, 38, has not tasted defeat since returning to combat sports in 2021 and has now won eight straight bouts: four in boxing and four in bare knuckle.[1] Belcher began his career in 2004 and made his UFC debut in 2006, where he competed until 2013.[2]

The event will be streamed live on FITE+ for $4.99/month or $49.99/year before prices rise later this week to $7.99/month and $69.99/year.[3] Subscribers to FITE+ are granted access to a range of exclusive live events from the realms of Mixed Martial Arts, boxing, professional wrestling, and more.[3] By subscribing, you will have unlimited access to the entire FITE+ library, boasting more than 4000 hours of content from over 100 organizations around the world.[3]
