The 147th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show: Celebrating the Best of the Best in Canine Breeds
The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is one of the most prestigious dog shows in the world, celebrating the best of the best in canine breeds. The wire fox terrier has won Westminster more than any other dog breed, with two recent wins by Sky in 2014 and King in 2019. The Scottish Terrier ranks second with eight Best in Show wins, with the most recent occurring in 2010 when Sadie won the top prize.[3] The English springer spaniel ranks third with six Best in Show titles.[4]
This year's Best in Show winner was the American Staffordshire Terrier named Lbk's Rebel And Proud Party Crasher, also known as “Trouble.”[5] The Reserve Best in Show went to Winston the French Bulldog, who won the National Dog Show last year and was the Best in Show reserve at Westminster in 2022.
